A first aid course will take 2 to 5 hours of face-to-face learning, depending on which first aid course you take. The online first aid course module includes reading and a multiple-choice questionnaire that you can do in your own time. Simply complete this e-Learning prior to face-to-face training and assessment.

Yes, the first aid Statements of Attainment we provide will be recognised wherever you go throughout Australia. Australia Wide First Aid is a Nationally Recognised Training Organisation (no: 31961).

Not only will your Australia Wide First Aid certificate be accepted Australia-wide, your training will be in accordance with guidelines set by the Australian Resuscitation Council.

To renew your certificate, simply book online or call us and one of our friendly team members will book the refresher course for you.

Start by downloading and reading your free Australia Wide First Aid eBook and complete the e-Learning. You can do this online first aid course module at your convenience.

In line with regulations, youd need to complete this e-Learning before attending your face-to-face practical training and assessment.

You have until 11:59pm AEST, the day prior to your practical training, to submit your e-Learning.

In your practical session, youll be required to perform uninterrupted CPR on a manikin placed on the floor. Bring a towel or cushion for your knees if you wish.

Youll receive your Statement of Attainment (PDF) by email the same day as you successfully complete your course. This would require that you have paid for your course in full (with the exception of account holders) and provided your valid USI.

Yes, you gain Continuing Professional Development (CPD) by training with Australia Wide First Aid. Our first aid training is endorsed and recommended as CPD training for members of both the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) and the Australian College of Nursing (ACN).

Yes. A person with a disability can attend our courses.

Regulations require students to perform specific activities to attain full certifcation. If these activities are not performed, a Statement of Attendance would be issued instead.

For certfication, a successful student would need to demonstrate use of all their senses in relation to monitoring a casualty and observing potentially dangerous surroundings. Another requirement is being able to kneel on the floor to perform CPR on a manikin for 2 minutes, uninterrupted.
